Yesterday, I came across a blog entry that speaks to some of the same issues I am raising in the first two parts of our current sermon series "Quo Vadimus: Where Are We Going?" Another pastor writes about how many congregations misconstrue who they are by comparing themselves to unrealistic expectations -- this too, is a huge challenge for the present church. As we imagine who we can be, we need to make sure that our what we are striving for is actually healthy.
